 The latest version of the award winning Knox Handroid long cuff glove, is the Mk4. Due to its design these are the most striking motorcycle gloves ever made. The design includes features such as the scaphoid protection system as well as the eye catching exo skeleton finger spines which cover the tops of the fingers for impact protection as well as a unique closing system which always ensures a perfect fit.

Now the latest Handroid takes all of these features and refines them. The finger spines are now softer and of a lower, more aerodynamic profile, yet no less effective when it comes to protection. The body of the glove is made from drum dyed Korean leather. This has been chosen for its feel, light weight and strength. Complementing this is 0.8mm kangaroo hide which is used on the palm. While the strength and feel offered by this hide is exceptional it’s still responsibly and ethically sourced.

A new SPS impact system is the most recent development of the Knox patented Scaphoid protection system. This now has Micro-Lock armour incorporated into the design of each slider. Because the BOA® Fit System is so effective the Handroid now no longer needs a second Velcro strap on the wrist. Box construction of the fingers makes for an even more comfortable glove that fits even better than previous models.

The CE testing for the Handroid covers 15 different tests. As a result independent testers have given the gloves a CE EN 13594- 2015 rating. This covers so much including the materials used, the fit, the cut of the glove, its abrasion resistance, the all-important seam and tear strength as well as impact absorption.

Separate tests were conducted for design and construction as well as tests on the materials used. This included checking features as detailed as the pH value of the leather as well as its chromium V1 content. In addition to the sizing dexterity the cadmium content and even the water vapour transmission were also measured. Strength tests included the Handroids’ restraint tear strength, the seam strength, cut resistance, abrasion resistance and, of course the impact resistance and the size of the protective area. The Handroid passes all with flying colours.

The Handroid is available in two sub models, the ‘Long Cuff’ and the short cuff ‘Pod’. The Long cuff is available in four different colours; black, black with white, red or blue. The Pod is available in 2 colours Black and Black/Sand The range of sizes runs from XS all the way to 3XL. The Boa fit system now comes with a lifetime guarantee and the whole glove is CE certified to EN 13594.

BOA® FIT SYSTEM Delivering fit solutions purpose-built for performance, the BOA® Fit System consists of three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, a super-strong lightweight lace and low friction lace guides. The MK IV no longer relies on a secondary retaining wrist strap, but is now a simple 1 step process activated entirely by the BOA® Fit System for a fast, effortless, precision fit.	METACARPAL & EXOSKELETON The striking exoskeleton spines now have a much lower profile, a softer feel and are more aero dynamic than before, yet just as effective. The metacarpal protector covering the back of the hand houses a gel lining for impact absorption.	SCAPHOID PROTECTION SYSTEM The new SPS Impact is the latest development of the Knox patented Scaphoid protection system and has the added benefit of MICRO-LOCK impact protection incorporated into the slider.	KANGAROO PALM Sustainable 0.8mm Kangaroo hide has been selected for its superior strength and enhanced feel on the palm and fingers. By weight, it is still stronger than any other leather. SIZE GUIDE

Palm Circumference (A): Palm circumference is the total measurement around the widest part of the palm and over the knuckles. Put the tape around your palm and make a fist, then note the measurement.

Hand Length (B): Measure from your wrist crease to the end of your middle finger.

Measure your hand length and width and choose size the closest to your measurements. This should fit your hand correctly. If your hand fits one measure but not the 2nd, or if you prefer a looser fit, we would advise choosing the next size up.
